065 – physx and combat

as im frustrated and occasionally bored to tears adapting the character models to the engine, i will be thinking about and working on interesting ways to use PhysX for combat. When i say combat, that means paranormal creatures, ranged weapons, and melee.

the basic things that add flash (like debris, dust, smoke, and other interesting things) are of course going to be AWESOME (Finally I will be able to see the car doors dent from hi speed ammunition like in “ghost in the shell”, but in realtime)

I always look at Masamune Shirow as an additional Mythology that the game draws from (along with other Anime) in a vein similar to the work of HP Lovecraft.
